– to the Barrie Horticultural Society, otherwise known as the Barrie Garden Club!
We have been in Barrie since 1874 and we are still going strong.
Everyone is welcome to join the Club to learn about gardening, network with other gardeners and have the opportunity to help the Club’s involvement in local gardening initiatives.
No experience necessary!
The Club meetings are held at the ANAF 365 building located at 52 Morrow Road in Barrie on the first Tuesday of the month. Please check the website calendar for the next scheduled meeting and all the exciting upcoming events. Membership is available on an annual basis for $25. Or, guests are allowed to attend meetings at a cost of $5 per meeting, payable at entry.
Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. but if you would like to enter in the flower show please bring your items to the meeting by 6:30 to register. Coffee, tea and treats are available for a cash donation to the coffee fund. Don’t forget to bring your own mug to be environmentally friendly!
More details about bus trips, seminars, and community volunteering opportunities will be available in the future. Join us for fun, friendship and gardening information galore!
