Join Us at Our Open Meetings
Barrie's Garden Club meets at 7:30pm on the first Tuesday of every month (except August and December). Guest speakers or events of interest to all gardeners are the highlights of these meetings and refreshments are served. The meetings are held at the Southshore Community Centre, Lakeshore Drive in Barrie. The public is welcome to our Open Meetings

January 8 - Open Meeting
Joint meeting with the Brereton Field Naturalists Club. The speaker this meeting will be John Beaulieu speaking on Monarch Butterflies.
February 5 - Open Meeting
Frank Ferragine from Breakfast Television. His topic will be Top 10 Tips for Garden Problems
March 4 - Open Meeting
Krisia Piorczynski. Krisia's topic will be Orchids 101.
April 1 - Open Meeting
Brenda Sutherland and her topic will be The Evolution of the Garden.

Annual plant sale held on the city parking lot (in front of the IGA) on the North-East corner of Collier & Mulcaster Streets. Starts at 8am sharp!

Butterfly Garden Dig-In. Bring along your rakes, transplant shovels and hand pruners and join us in the pavilion for lunch, prepared by BGC volunteers

July 8 - Open Meeting in the Arboretum
This Open Meeting is held in the Arboretun at the corner of Sunnidale and Cundles Roads in Barrie. Guided tours of the gardens is a highlight of this meeting.

This is our Annual General Meeting that includes the introduction of new board members, Award Presentations for Flower Shows and Photo Contest as well as Dessert Pot Luck for refreshments
