Rules and Entry Procedure

This year's theme is "In My Garden". Within this theme there are three categories:

1.  In Your Face: A close up of a bloom showing the flower's wonderful design and colour.

2.  Wildlife in the Garden: A picture of a visitor to your garden. The subject could be a mamal, an anphibian, a bird, or an insect (children may be allowed another year!)

3.  Colours In My Garden: A view of a garden showing the many colours of flowers in nature (includes blooms and foliage).

Rules

1. Contestants must be members of Barrie's Garden Club.
2. Photos must have been taken during the past 12 months.
3. Contestant must have taken the photo(s) entered and , by entering the competition, they give Barrie's Garden Club the right to use the photo in its promotional material.
4. Contestants must make their own decision on which category they wish to enter a photo. The judges will not move photos to another category.
5. Entries can be submitted as either a digital file emailed to one of the judges (see below) or as a colour print. Photos should be marked with the contestant's name and category (included in the name of the file if submitted by email).

To qualify, your entry must be in the hands of the judges, either via email or delivered at the Barrie's Garden Club Open Meeting:
