Welcome to Barrie's Garden Club

Mission Statement

The Barrie's Garden Club (BGC) is a community based group of volunteer gardeners devoted to sharing their love of gardening. Through a variety of activities and projects the BGC:

  • promotes the beautification of Barrie
  • provides educational opportunities, and
  • advocates sound environmental practices

The BGC strives to provide a welcoming environment for all who enjoy gardening and recognizes that an interest in gardening may grow into a passion if nurtured!

Open Meetings

Open to the Public

BCG hosts a monthly horticultural meeting at the Southshore Community Centre.

There is an admission fee of $5.00 for non-members. Members attend free.

Meetings are held at 7:15pm on the first Tuesday of each month and all visitors are welcome.

Canada Blooms


Barrie's Garden Club is heading to Canada Blooms in March. We will go for the day on Saturday, March 17, 2012. If you wish to reserve a spot on our bus contact Catherine at 705-725-0472 or email cwaffle@rogers.com. You will learn details of the cost for the trip and how to submit your payment to reserve your seat.
